Erin Burnett

About Erin

Erin Burnett is a multimedia artist based in Indianapolis whose work challenges traditional boundaries through a vivid blend of materials and meaning. Working with watercolor, acrylic, and reclaimed objects, she creates abstract and surrealist pieces that range from expressive paintings to imaginative, functional forms. Her art evokes memory, dreams, and emotion through bold color and layered storytelling.

Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Burnett spent years as a Journalist—a background that informs her narrative-driven approach to art. Now, after 10 years of creating part-time, she continues to reimagine everyday items, transforming them into works that stir feelings and spark new perspectives. For Burnett, art is about impression and emotional resonance that viewers can reconnect to.
